Client Care

STANDARDS
Moore Law strives to operate to the highest professional standards with diligence and integrity and with client care at the top of its agenda. We aim to build valuable long lasting relationships with our clients by providing an expert personal legal service tailored to meet their requirements.

Costs

We understand that legal services can be expensive and that how and what a law firm charges is a major factor for clients in making informed decisions and we undertake to address costs at the outset with integrity, clarity and transparency. Moore Law will agree a costs regime with you at the beginning of the transaction and keep you properly informed of costs as your matter progresses.

We have a flexible billing structure and, depending on the nature and complexity of the work being undertaken for you, we may be able to agree a fixed rate or reduced hourly rate (or a combination of the two) for the services that we provide.

We invoice periodically (usually on a monthly basis) to assist cash flow and budgeting and we aim to maintain a regular dialogue with all of our clients to ensure that we manage expectations on costs and deliver services to meet them on time and to budget.

We will always give you an indication of our likely fees at the beginning and, where appropriate, we are able to agree budgets, caps and retainer arrangements to suit both parties.

Ultimately we are measured by the value that we add to our clients’ affairs and we are confident that we deliver better value than our competitors.

Integrity:

We recognise that client care is more than just offering an excellent client experience, it is about ensuring that you feel listened too, and supported. It is about being confident that you have engaged a law firm that can not only resolve your issue, but also do so in a communicative, clear and effective way.

That’s why Moore Law is committed to client care and it is why we will always aim too:

    • Spend time ensuring that we fully understand your immediate legal needs as well as your broader business goals.
    • Always keep your business confidential.
    • Represent your best interests.
    • Be candid and earnest in advising whether your expectations are realistic and achievable.
    • Ensure that we are available and prompt in our communication.
    • Be as transparent as possible, giving you all the information you need to make informed decisions.

Independence

We are a boutique law firm that strongly values our independence and ability to act without being influenced by others. This proves to be an invaluable asset in ensuring we always act in our clients best interests. By design, we are not tied or beholden to anyone, so when we need to call on support or recommend another professional we can do so independently, impartially and without favour or compromise. Instead, we have worked hard to grow a network of other professionals who we can work with to ensure that our clients receive the best service (in areas outside of our expertise) on a strictly “best equipped to deal” basis.
