Olympics 2012

Well what a stunning couple of weeks we have had with London and Team GB stepping up to deliver a truly awesome performance!

The iconic venues, the organisation, the athleticism and the drama surpassed all expectations. Even the weather behaved!

Above all the feeling of a group of athletes bouyed by an unprecedented wave of goodwill and crowd euphoria will leave its mark on the Olympic movement and the public consciousness. If there is to be a legacy it could well be one of enduring togetherness for which the British people should rightly feel proud.

It has been a team effort and at Moore Law we are pleased to be acting for clients who have played their part in delivering key infrastructure and we even act for a client whose CEO scored the beach volleyball final. Some gig that one!

And Simon Roberts (the photographer whose photos appear on the Moore Law website) has been busy working at the Games check out his great photos in the FTWeekend Mag

Lord Coe, LOCOG, Danny Boyle, the volunteers, the athletes and the Great British Public – we salute you!

The Olympics are a lesson in the power of the brand and a triumph for Brand GB.

At Moore Law we provide practical solutions-based legal advice to help our clients manage their IP, protect their brands and negotiate their commercial contracts.
